DSRi

Subtitle Retimer

The encoding of the video signals on the digital headend causes delay in the system that results in synchronization problems in case of the signals that are not produced locally. The DVB subtitling signals are not produced and re-encoded on the headend. The video/audio encoding results in a several second delay, hence the text and the picture are not in accordance with each other. The DSRi corrects the timing of the DVB subtitles.
